Girls day

We didn't get to go to church this morning. Preston woke up running fever, coughing and runny nose last night...so I didn't want to chance taking him to church and getting the other babies sick. I am very very ready for spring!!!!!!!

We did go on our girls day with my mom. Preston stayed at home with daddy and they had a boys day laying low at the house playing video games. Michael always puts a chair in front of the T.V. and then he tells P to get his chair. So, P will go get his lil chair and sit right next to Michael with his controller...ha!

We started our day going to Wendy's for lunch. The cashier thought the girls outfits were so cute she gave them free frosty's...i was like wow..SCORE!! HAHA!!! Then we went to the mall and shopped a lil. I got the girls a dress each that I have been eyeballing at TCP and Preston a cute polo.

After our trip to the mall we went to get the girls nails painted. They both got pink with zebra strips. It was a total waste of money!! Two of Catie's nail polish has come off already!!! I am going to Sally's this week to get the stuff to do it my self!!

Then it was BIEBER time!!! They have been soooooo excited about this movie!! As you can see they even wore their SORRY BOYS I ONLY DATE ROCKSTARS shirts..lol! It was actually a really good movie!! I even teared up some because I was thinking of how proud he has made his parents! He is truly talented and such a cute boy!! I would love to take Catie and Anna to see him in concert!!

This pic was taken a month ago. It was the day we bought the gator. Preston saw this at the John Deere place and fell in LOVE!!!!!!! He was seriously trying to push the thing out the door! Everyone was laughing so hard at him!! Pretty sure this is what he will be getting for his birthday.

I feel like I am not blogging enough. Every time I look at my blog I feel guilty if it's been a week or so that I have blogged. I ALWAYS try and upload pics when I blog and if I don't have pics (or am feeling too lazy which is most of the time the case) then I don't blog. Well, I am stopping that now. I feel like I leave out so much about what goes on around here. I am not saying I am going to blog every day, just more often!


This weekend has been pretty low key. My youngest bro stayed the night with us last night and Preston went to my mom's house. Today while Michael played golf with my cousin Adam we rode the gator everywhere!! Then I took the kiddos to the school to play.

I had bunco tonight! I lost sooo bad but I don't even care I just really needed to get out for a few hours and have fun with adults...lol! I have been dieting all week long, so tonight was my cheat night and boy did I cheat!! I ate buffalo wings, chips and dip, and sopapilla cheesecake with caramel drizzled on top. That cheese cake is to die for!!!!!!!!! I need to get the recipe and post it on here!

Tomorrow the girls, my mom, and I are going to watch Never Say Never. Not saying I am super excited about the movie, but I am excited about having a girl's day! Hopefully I will have pics to post tomorrow! :)

Preston is 18 months old today

My sweet Preston is 18 months old today!!! I don't know where the last year and a half has gone. I can't believe how smart and funny he is! He is such a boy...it's funny how girls just know how to be lil momma's to their babies and boy's know that a car goes vrooomm. He loves to dance...he bobbs his lil head to anything that sounds like music..lol. He loves to play with his trucks and play outside. He loves our dogs until they bark and then he tells them to "TOP" which is stop..lol. He loves his sister's. He gets soooo excited when they come home from school! I would say he is both a momma's boy and daddy's boy! He loves to follow his daddy everywhere he goes! He likes to go to Michael's shop and "help Daddy!" He loves to eat almost anything! He knows just were the snack drawer is and will go get food and bring it to us. His fave snack is marshmallow's. If he wants something he says mommy mommy mommy over and over...lol...until i answer him. He is in a size 4 diaper and wears 18mth clothing. He weighs 25lbs now. He is such a loving boy...he loves to give kisses. He has to go to sleep with his monkey and his night night blanket and his paci. He is a wonderful sleeper and loves his naps! I swear he knows what we are talking about most of the time. We ask him a question and he says ah uh or nope. He knows where his neck, tongue, eyes, feet, and belly is. He loves to ride the 4-wheeler (well gator now) with his daddy. He isn't scared of anything! He likes to sit in his recliner in the mornings and watch Disney's Mickey mouse club house and Handy Manny. He LOVES BALLS!!! He is obsessed with them actually! He gets his football and says hut hut...this makes his daddy's heart swell! As many of you know Michael is PRAYING Preston LOVES sports...mainly football..lol! I say wipe your face and he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand..lol. When we ask are you stinky...he says shooweee and points to his butt.Here are just some of the words he can say...

He was going to town with his Daddy to pick up the new Gator! Daddy likes to dress him like a lil redneck..haha!!!

Our Valentine's Day

The girl's woke up to their Valentine's Day presents. I forgot to get pics because we were in a hurry. We got Savannah a new woody doll. Her old Woody's head fell off and we could not glue it back on. She has been so sad about it. Catelyn got the new Justin Bieber CD. She is so in love with him...just like every other girl right now...lol! We are going to have a girls day next week and are going to see his new movie! Preston got a cute tool box, so he can help his daddy in his shop!

I just love their dresses!! My mom made them for the girls!! They turned out super cute...minus the socks...lol! I didn't realize their feet were in the pic!!

My mom always made me special lunches for Valentine's Day so I love to do that for my kiddos! I also put a lil heart shaped note in their lunch box telling them how much we love them!! I hate that you cannot send kids flowers or balloons to school anymore! I loved getting things at school!!! But I know it's a lot of work on the teachers so I understand!

The girls had a great time at their V-Day parties! They had the cutest Valentine's Day cards I made at Wal-Mart! Savannah and her BFF Emily ate some pink cupcakes if you can't tell...lol!!!


Preston had everyone laughing soooo hard at the parties!!! He was running around stealing (their un eaten) food off all the lil kids plates!!!! It was HILARIOUS!!!!! He had so much fun!!! If you can't tell by his face! LOL!

We have started doing breathing treatments every night with Preston to help with his raspiness. It has really helped!! He is breathing soooo much better!! He does ok with it for about 30 seconds and then is done with it, so we have to sing to him so he will keep it on..lol.

Michael and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day too! We went to Shreveport for the day. My grandma kept P for us so we could have some alone time. :) We went to the boardwalk and ate at Salt Grass steak house. It was delicious!!!! We even had dessert....strawberry cheesecake! All in all it was a great Valentine's Day!!! <3

So, it has snowed AGAIN today! This is the 4th day my kids have missed school. I really love the snow at first, but I live in the south for a reason!! I am a warm weather kind of gal!! I cannot wait for spring/summer and flip flops and tank tops and shorts!! We haven't even gone outside today. The kids could care less about playing in the snow now..lol. We have watched Nanny McPhee Returns and Monsters VS Aliens. Just having a lazy day!


One of my BFF's Valerie has recently started her own photography business called Fancy Photography (my hubby helped come up with her business name...lol) She is doing a GREAT job!!! Val, Nathan, and their lil girl Aubrey have been coming down and staying with us about 2 weekends out of the month so she can take pictures down here. I am loving all the time we are getting to spend together, but it just makes me want her to move back home so much more!! Here is a preview of the pics she has taken of my kiddos......

She took most of these downtown. Savannah had a blast getting her pics made. There was snow everywhere so she was a lil cold...lol.

I think she did a FAB job!!!!! I just love the way this one turned out!! She is so beautiful!!!


Preston really liked his hands in his pockets...lol. He tried walking around like this but it didn't work....he kept loosing his balance..ha!

Catie's 8th birthday is fast approaching! She is having a girls ROCK theme. I thought the guitar was perfect with these pics!! She had such a great time posing!! She loved all the attention!
