another beautiful day

Michael stayed home from work today. We all love it when he is home!! We played and played this morning with the kid's. Michael worked outside most of the afternoon. His pawpaw gave us a golf cart, but it wasn't running so Michael fixed it today. The girl's where sooooo happy!! We have been riding it all day. I'm sure we look so redneck riding it on our road...lol. The warm weather sure is nice, but I kinda wish it felt like December and not October!

This is how Savannah dressed herself for the day. Leotard and knee high socks...lol! It was warm today, but not THIS warm!! ;) She does not normally drink from a sippy...but she LOVES them and I let her have one today..lol! When she saw I posted this picture she was MAD!! She said take that off!!!!!!! She did not want everyone seeing her drinking out of a sippy....LOL!!!!!!!

I have been reading The Twilight books....i'm on New Moon now. I was reading in the bathtub last night and when I got out I left the book on the floor. Well, needless to so I had to buy a new book today. Preston turned on the water to the tub and trew the book right in it!!! I was not too happy!! I guess he just really likes Bella...haha!!!

I made French Dip Subs for supper tonight. It cooked in the crock pot all day. I just love the smell of food cooking all day long...lol. It was super yummy!! We also made a strawberry cake for Jesus' birthday. We started doing this last year. I have to work tomorrow and Michael is staying home with the kid's. I'm not even sure why we are opened....no one comes to the Dr. this close to Christmas!!!!

So, today we went to Pizza Inn with Mr. and Mrs. Dudley. They gave the kid's their Christmas presents....I did not have my camera today....so no pics:( They got the girl's a barbie doll each, Preston a loud truck ;) and a super sweet book for us to read to the kids. We came home and picked up Catie's friend Sky. She is staying the night tonight. It was such a warm day. It was almost 80 degrees. Gotta love the southern weather..lol! When Michael got home we played outside with the kiddos. I drove all the kids around on the 4-wheeler while Michael tried getting our golf cart running. It was so nice out that the kid's ate supper outside. All in all it was a good day. Gotta go watch 16 and pregnant now..lol.

Our weekend...

Saturday Catie started running fever AGAIN and her throat was so sore....so I took her to the Dr. It took 3 of us to hold her down for the Dr. to swab her throat. It was HORRIBLE!!!! She was very mad! Well, she tested positive for strep. She was very sad because we had one of our family Christmas parties that night and I didn't want her going since she was running fever.

My cousin Adam came over Saturday Night to give the kiddos their Christmas presents. He got the girls barbies, baby stroller, some Lisa Frank goodies. Preston got the rumbling Chuck.

Michael ended up staying home with Catie (she said that I could go to the party since I would be bringing back presents for her..lol) This is the Perkins/Purifoy family :) Aren't we a good looking batch!! The party was at my parents house. We just eat and have a great time!

Preston is all about my Dad!! He LOVES men!!! He will go to a man alot faster than a women..lol! He got a bunch of lil trucks and this cute flash ligh that roars!

Savannah got barbies, a teddy bear, a big ole' bucket of gum balls, and a huge thing of Toy Story stickers.

Today was my Mom's birthday. So we had a birthday/Christmas party at my Uncle's(AKA Bubba) house. We had finger foods and Tiffany made Mom an applesauce cake. This is a family fave! It was my late Grandpa Benny's favorite! We made it for him for all of his birthday's.

My sister and I got her a grandmother's necklace. I think it turned out super cute!! She loved it!!

This tractor caught Preston's eye's...lol!! He is so in love with tractor's! It's so funny how much he is learning. His thing now is to "sneeze" it is the cutest thing...haha!! Oh, and he likes to make "fart" noises on our leather couch.!!!!! LMBO!!

All the kid's loved the leaves at my Uncle's house!! We don't have hardly any trees in our yard so they where having a BLAST!!! Catie was feeling so much better!! I just LOVE this picture of her!!!

They got to open presents AGAIN! My grandma got the girl's Celtic Thunder DVD's. It's a Irish band that my grandma loves and she has now gotten Catie and Savannah loving it!! They feel asleep watching it tonight..haha! It is SOOOO not my kind of music but to each their own..lol!!

The girls are now out of school and I am so looking forward to not having to get them off to school in the morning!! Hope everyone has a great week!

School parties

My morning started out hectic as always. I woke up and realized I had not wrapped the teacher's gifts for the Christmas parties today. I get my paper out and have no tape....ugh!! So, I run to Target to get tape and then run home wrap presents and go to the Christmas parties. Today was the girl's last day of school until the new year and their....Catie was sooo excited! She is very ready for a break.

This is Savannah's teacher Mrs. Tibbit. She was opening the gift that Savannah got her. She asked that instead of the kid's get her gifts they get the class gifts. We got the class playdough and a super cute puzzle.




Savannah was so excited to have Momma at her party. She likes to introduce me to all her friends...lol!

She really loves her teacher!! I am so glad! Savannah loves going to school. :)

Aunt Tiffany came to the parties too. She was with one girl while I was with the other. It's hard when both parties are at the same time....so I have to split my time between both girls. Tiffany is such a great Aunt! They love her sooo much!!!!




After the parties I took the girls to get their hair cut (sorry no pics) and then Tiffany and her boys came over to the house. Preston was giving Kason kisses! He loves him!! Preston is such a loving sweet boy!!

We had planned on taking the girls to Marshall, TX to go ice skating, but Michael got off work to late. We hope to take them next week. I think we would have so much fun!! Since our plans changed Tiffany took Catie Bug with her and Savannah's friend Morgan asked if she could stay the night. My mom wanted to keep Preston so Michael and I ended up having a night to ourselves. We went to eat at Osaka's. It was delicious!!!!! Then we went to Target and Wal-Mart to get a few more gifts. We where home by 10...lol. I am so looking forward to sleeping in in the morning!! HAHA!!

not a baby anymore....

So, I had another sick baby this weekend. Catelyn started running fever and had a sore throat. She does not like to be sick or slow down any! She kept saying "Momma, i don't have fever I am just hot!!" LOL! She is feeling much better tonight! This morning she was still not feeling herself , I stayed at home with her and Michael took Anna and Preston to church. Here they are before they left......

Savannah is no longer a baby!! :( She lost her very first tooth tonight!! It really made me sad! I still look at her as my "baby" I think because we thought we were done having kids after I had her. So, I always thought she would be my last...but then we decided we wanted to try for a boy. She was soooo excited to go to bed tonight!! The tooth fairy has already visited her and left her 4 whole bucks and some pixie dust in the baggie...lol.

Welp, i better get in bed! I have to work in the morning for the first time in about 3 weeks. I am actually excited...lol!! I have missed my co-workers and it gets me out of the house!

It's Christmas time....

I absolutely love this time of year!! I love decorating (not a fan of taking all the stuff down..lol), listening to Christmas music, and I love all the time we get to spend with our family's. We have always told the girl's what the REAL meaning of Christmas is, but we are really emphasizing it this year. I think they are at a great age to really understand!! I do not ever want them to think that Christmas is all about presents.

We bought a new Christmas tree this year. We had our other one for almost 10 years and it was just time for a new one! I redid all my colors this year too.

Notice the first pic....this was Savannah's first Christmas and Catie was 2 1/2. Where in the world does the time go??!!!!

Dontcha just love those HOGS!!?? We have had all our neighbors ask about them...lol!! I wish I could say where you could get some. Our super nice friends are letting us use them. They no longer put them in their yard. I am IN LOVE with it!!!!!

Parties and Princesses

Ok, so I am just know getting around to blogging about our wonderful weekend.....

Friday- We went to Michael's Christmas party for work. We had a great time. We played bingo! We COULD have won a Wii, TV, gift cards to Wal-Mart....but noooo we win peanuts...lol!!! Actually Michael won them I never even won and I was playing with 4 cards..lol. We stayed the night at a hotel while the kid's stayed with Michael's mom. They had a blast staying with Nana and Popa!

Saturday- We picked the kids up early Saturday morning and ate breakfast with Michael's friend from work and his wife. We did a little shopping and came home to get ready for our BFF Christmas party! We do a "theme" each year . This year was Christmas PJ's! We had such a great time!! We ate lots of good food and shared lots of laughs!!

I just don't know what I would do without these girls!!!

Sunday- My mom bought the girls tickets to Disney Princesses on Ice in Shreveport. We had an awesome time!!! Mom and me enjoyed it just as much as the girls did! They put on a great performance!! I want to go back next year..lol!! The girls favorite was The Little Mermaid!!

Afterwards we went to the boardwalk for a lil shopping. Santa was at Bass Pro :) Catie told him she wated a DSI game and Anna wanted a doll house. We will see if he delivers! ;) My mom introduced me to the Chocolate Crocodile. We got an apple dipped in caramel and white chocolate. It was yummy!!!



Preston is feeling a lot better!! He is on day 5 of his antibiotic. He stayed at home with Daddy while we had a girls day. :) You can see what they did mostly while we were gone..haha

I had to take Preston to the Dr. today. He has been so congested and has had a nasty runny nose. He has a double ear infection :( Hopefully the meds will hurry up and make him all better!!! I can't believe how big he is getting. Preston weighs 23lbs now!! We have a super fun/busy weekend coming up! Tomorrow we are going to Michael's Christmas party for his job....Saturday we are having our annual BFF Christmas party. Sunday-me and my mom are taking the girl's to Disney on Ice! They don't know we are going so they will be sooooo excited!!! It's part of their Christmas present from Meme!! I will post pics soon!!
